This course prepares students for a career as a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA). Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the certification exam, which opens up employment opportunities in a variety of health care settings-including nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
Classes will be held at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center and clinical site.
Admission Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (enrollment in Adult Diploma Program through CVCC is acceptable)
- Valid Government Issued Photo I.D.
Requirements for Clinical Placement:
- Cleared Background Check
- Appropriate medical documentation
