This Certificate Program meets Wednesday and Thursday and includes basic skills for entry-level employment as a tool and die maker, mold maker or machinist. No previous experience is required. Classes start the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
 
Prerequisite: Students are required to contact the program coordinator to ensure proper placement in the program before registration.

The focus of this course is to develop skills used in Turning Operations.  Topics include:  cutting tool selection, work holding setup, drilling, reaming, boring, turning, tapering, grooving, threading, and speed and feed calculations.
